In celebration of our 20th year, Junction 32 will be supporting 20 local charities through the launch of a new community initiative.
We have allocated £5,000 for our ’20 random acts of kindness’ initiative, which will see us surprise 20 community groups, organisations or charities with equipment, products or volunteers as a thank you for the work they do to support the Yorkshire community.
Between us all, here at Junction 32, we have chosen the first five organisations that will benefit from the initiative and these are:
- The Prince of Wales Hospice
- The Well Project Normanton
- Smawthorne Community Foodbank
- Beat Autism
- Castleford Academy
We need your help
The local community is now being called on to nominate the remaining 15 organisations or groups that would benefit from the initiative. All nominations will be reviewed by the Junction 32 team, with those chosen surprised throughout the remainder of the year.
How can you help?
Members of the local community can nominate by submitting the name and address of the group or organisation, along with 150 words that summarise why Junction 32 should surprise them with kindness and what support is required. Funds of up to £250 per project can be claimed for the purchase of products or equipment or alternatively, team members from Junction 32 can provide a day of volunteering for the charity.
Nominations should be sent to email@example.com or posted to Management Office, Junction 32 Outlet Shopping Village, Glasshoughton, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF104FR and should include a name and contact phone number of the nominator.
