Introducing our exciting new collaboration with Interior Design Masters finalist and local lass Siobhan Murphy
Local lass and television star Siobhan Murphy rose to fame on the second series of BBC's Interior Design Masters, becoming a hit on the show after judges and viewers fell for her vivacious personality and unapologetically maximalist style.
The show saw runner up Siobhan celebrate her Yorkshire roots, including the famous 'Ey Up' mural that completed a stunning transformation of Hebden Bridge's Cafe 17. Now, the Castleford resident is bringing some colourful inspiration to her hometown...
Siobhan has taken over a corner of Junction 32 for seven weeks with her very own pop-up window display, showcasing some of the fantastic home, fashion and beauty products currently available at the centre – all handpicked by Siobhan!
The colourful collaboration hopes to inspire visitors on how they can add their own sense of individualism to their home, wardrobe or beauty regime; and is guaranteed to brighten up everyone’s day.
Siobhan Murphy said: "When I was on BBC Interior Design Masters, one of my favourite parts of the show was dressing the window displays, so when Junction 32 asked me to design them in my local town, it was a dream come true.
"I’ve loved going around the shops and choosing some of the fantastic products to create a beautiful edit, which brings some of my maximalism and interior design, fashion and beauty style for the people of Yorkshire. I’ve been totally in my element and if you’re passing Castleford, please do pop by and check it out!"
The Junction 32 Edit by Siobhan Murphy officially launches this Saturday 8th April, and customers are extended a warm Yorkshire welcome to meet Siobhan and view the window in person. Join us between 10.30am and 12.30pm – we hope to see you there!
