We are pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs, guide dogs and hearing dogs to the centre. Most of our stores are dog-friendly so just look out for the ‘dogs allowed’ sticker in store windows!

The majority of our brands are ‘dog-friendly’. However, please see below the stores that do not permit dogs in-store:

All of our restaurants and cafés have outside seating, which is ideal for enjoying a snack or meal with your four-legged companions. Please check with individual stores for their own specific guidelines on dogs.

Additionally, as an added commitment to our dog-friendly status, our team are trained in pet first aid and we have a specialist pet first aid kit at the centre.

We are pleased to welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs throughout Junction 32.

We are delighted that we have recently been awarded ‘Platinum Plus’ status for the toilets situated next to M&S Outlet and ‘Diamond’ (highest available award) for the toilets near Bakers + Baristas.* View the location of facilities on our map.

In times of need, free sanitary towels are available to all guests. Speak to any member of the Junction 32 cleaning team or a member of the store team in Beauty Outlet.

Junction 32 has taken guidance from Colostomy UK to provide stoma-friendly toilet facilities. All of our accessible toilets have been updated to include the correct Stoma Facilities. These can be found by Marks & Spencer’s and behind Bakers and Baristas. Each toilet now includes wall hooks, a colostomy bag shelf, a wall mirror and the correct disposal facilities.

Junction 32 is proud to provide a breastfeeding-friendly environment for our customers. Our Breastfeeding Friendly Policy is in support of Breastfeeding Friendly Wakefield, an initiative aiming to help families feel welcome to breastfeed their babies and confident to carry on breastfeeding for a long as they choose to.

Families can feed their babies anywhere in Junction 32 and we have baby changing available in each toilet block, as well as a designated changing place behind Bakers + Baristas. View the location of facilities on our map here.

Guests are also welcome to ask for the Management suite or Quiet Room by speaking to a member of staff or calling 01977 520153 and select the option for our security team.

At Junction 32 we pride ourselves on providing a genuine warm Yorkshire welcome, in a complimentary environment, delivering brands that delight our visitors, with an attraction for all… and we mean all.

The shopping outlet can be accessed whether you have two legs, use a wheelchair, need an extra pair of hands with your shopping or have dependants to take care of.

Accessible parking

Whilst parking at the centre, you’ll be sure to find one of our accessible parking bays, which are all clearly marked blue. The accessible bays are situated in the spaces nearest to the centre.

Free wheelchair and mobility scooter hire

Hearing loops

To communicate with all our customers in a busy environment, where hearing aids may struggle, we offer hearing loops at points of sale. They’re a great solution for our guests who struggle to separate the sounds of voice from the natural hustle and bustle of the shopping village.

Junction 32 offers a warm welcome to all our guests and it’s important to us that everyone can enjoy the shopping, dining and leisure available. For some children and adults, who have hidden disabilities, this can be more challenging.

We offer a meet-and-greet service to guests that would like a member of the team to meet them on arrival and show them around the site. Our security and cleaning staff also have cards with contact information should anyone need assistance whilst on site.

We have also introduced two sensory backpacks which are available to hire free of charge from our Security team.
These sensory backpacks are particularly aimed at those guests with autism and are packed full of items to assist children and adults and include:

• HD Lanyard
• Ear Defenders
• Sensory Toys

For guests with autism, we have also produced a guide to help you prepare for your visit, the guide can be downloaded and used on or before you arrive.

We provide a Quiet Room for all who wish to use it for prayer, reflection, breastfeeding or just a quiet place away from the crowds. If you wish to use this room, please call 01977 520972 and a member of the Junction 32 team will take you there. The Quiet Room is open during centre hours.

We also operate weekly Quiet Hours to help create an inclusive and calmer atmosphere for our guests who may find shopping an overwhelming or stressful experience. During this time, music will remain off in the centre and stores, and tannoy announcements kept to a minimum.

Tuesdays 10am – midday
Thursdays 5pm – 6pm

As part of Junction 32’s sustainability efforts, in a bid to cut single-use plastic consumption, guests can now fill up their water bottles for free at any retailer displaying a Refill Me sticker in its window, with zero obligation to make a purchase.

Junction 32 brands taking part in the ‘Refill Me’ initiative include Bakers + Baristas, Costa Coffee, Greggs, Starbucks, Subway, and Tilly’s Kitchen.

Inpost Lockers are located at Junction 32 near Mountain Warehouse.

All our security team are First Aid trained. Should you require any First Aid assistance while you are in the centre, please walk into any store and ask them to contact security for you or call 01977 520972.

Why not add some fun for little ones to your shopping trip and pay a visit to our outdoor play area? With a rope bridge, climbing frames, slides and more, your children can play the day away! Our play area can be found near Tilly’s Kitchen.

The Play Area is temporarily closed until further notice.
