Don’t they grow up fast!? It’s that time again, to bring them shopping for new uniform and school shoes. Thankfully, Junction 32 has lots of shops to kit your children out for the new term.
On the 4th October 2025 Honley Ladies Choir are travelling the M62 from east to west to sing in aid of breast cancer as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They have called their project ‘Abreast The M62’ and it starts with a launch event in Huddersfield on 2nd October and then the Big Booby Dooby Sing on Sat 4th October in St Stephens Shopping Centre, Hull, Junction 32 near Leeds (from 2-4pm outside M&S) and a Finale Celebration in The Metropolitan Cathedral in Liverpool. Save the date and come to show your support.
Look at The Sweet Emporium’s new shop near Greggs, it’s full of old-fashioned sweet jars and tantalising pick ‘n mix. Children love coming here to choose their favourite sweeties, chocolate, marshmallows and even try American candies. What’s your favourite gummy? Strawberries and cream, Dracula teeth, Cola bottles? Launched in January 2022, we also now have weekly quiet hours on Tuesday between 10am to midday. During these hours, music will remain off in the centre, in many of our stores and tannoy announcements will be kept to a minimum. The quiet hours aims to create an inclusive and calmer atmosphere for our guests who may find shopping a stressful and overwhelming experience. Without electricity at Junction 32, we wouldn’t be able to seek out the discounts, navigate the village and park our cars throughout the darker months – what would we do without it?! The good news! 100% of the electricity purchased by Junction 32 is renewable, powered from sources such as wind and solar – meaning the masses we use is as environmentally friendly as possible.
We try to keep our waste to a minimum and the waste we do have, we consciously recycle. Last year we recycled 78% of all the waste produced on site! P.S We NEVER let our waste reach a landfill.
All that shopping is thirsty work! Six of our retailers are signed up to our “Refill Me” campaign, offering you FREE refills of water with no need to make a purchase. Reducing the amount of one use plastic and keeping you hydrated as you seek out the savings.
